Going out for dinner is one of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy cooking at home, but dining at a nice restaurant is an awesome past time.  My absolute joy in dining out is that you can have wine or cocktails, multiple tasty courses, desserts, and you don’t have to worry about washing the dishes after you’re done. Best of all, you can dress up, which I absolutely love to do! Now combine fine dining while be being dressed up and marveling at the best water views in all of Southwest Florida and you get an amazing experience on the Naples Princess Sunset Dinner Cruise. The Naples Princess is a 105’ luxury yacht that offers a delicious gourmet dinner, a full cash bar, and world-class service.

The cruise took me and Tunde through Naples Bay, where we saw the most exclusive waterfront properties in Port Royal on our way to the Gulf of Mexico to view a spectacular Naples sunset. On the outside deck, we enjoyed a perfect summer breeze and clear blue skies that made for a very inviting and romantic experience. It also didn’t hurt that we were enjoying a Toasted Almond, our new favorite drink. Oscar, the cruise mixologist, prepared the delightful combination of Kahlua Coffee Liqueur, Amaretto Liqueur, and cream. For dinner we were treated to an impressive double-entree (chicken and roast beef) dinner served with fresh salad, vegetables, potato, dessert and coffee while watching the multimillion dollar waterfronts pass before our eyes.

The cruise lasted about two hours, which flew (or in this case sailed) by very quickly. An evening on The Naples Princess cruise made for a wonderful “date night.” We will definitely take the cruise again, especially when it offers live entertainment. For a great night with that special someone or with friends and family, we highly recommend taking a tour of Naples’ coast lines on the Naples Princess Cruise.
